Zephyr X buys Hampshire site for £20m care home scheme

Zephyr X has bought a site for a state-of-the-art senior living development in Bishop’s Waltham, Hampshire.

The new care home, which has a gross development value of £20m, is set to provide 66 en suite bedrooms, communal lounges, dining areas and gardens.

Bracebridge Care Group will operate the care home on completion.

In addition, Zephyr X has partnered with Beechcroft to deliver 19 two, three, and four-bedroom houses on the site, creating a comprehensive senior living community that caters to both independent and assisted-living needs.

Adam Faulkner, founder of Zephyr X, said: “This new care home reflects our commitment to elevating senior care standards and creating an environment that combines first-rate facilities with the warmth of a community.”

Samantha Crawley, chief executive at Bracebridge, said: “This project is both timely and essential. With a significant undersupply of market-standard beds in the area, Zephyr X’s development fills a critical gap. The facility, combined with Beechcroft’s senior housing, will create a well-rounded community offering vital resources to Hampshire’s senior residents.”

Bevan Brittan advised Zephyr X on the acquisition.
