Real estate adviser Xprop has appointed two new consultants as it looks to bolster its capabilities in the out-of-town sector, weeks after breaking off from agency CWM.
Jerry Holmes, chief development officer at Qatari Diar, will serve as a residential and development consultant, and will advise on regeneration and redevelopment opportunities across the UK. He has worked on high-profile London schemes such as Chelsea Barracks, One Hyde Park, Paternoster Square and the US Embassy redevelopment on Grosvenor Square.
Nick Brooks will join as a development consultant from Kier Property. He brings more than 30 years’ experience in the industrial and logistics sectors to the Xprop team.
Mark Powell, partner at Xprop, said: “As the out-of-town sector evolves, Xprop has positioned itself to offer consultancy advice to owners and operators seeking alternative uses.
“Development specialists of Jerry and Nick’s calibre are a valuable addition to the team and serve as a direct response to the changing needs of our client base.”
Xprop, which previously traded as CWM Out-of-Town, announced its new branding earlier this month.
The move was said to mark “a natural progression for the team as it seeks to assert independence for clients and provide a partner-led service dedicated exclusively to the out-of-town sector”.
The firm is asset manager to more than 140 retail warehouse schemes, with clients including Aviva, Aberdeen Standard, Landsec and Legal & General.
