Property manager Workman is launching a new intelligent building system, IBOS, that it claims will help clients develop more sustainable assets.
The company has developed the offering with Bubll Automation to help automate operations and provide remote engineering capabilities and data analytics in building systems.
James Hallworth, a member of Workman’s building technology team, said: “The data, insight and optimisation this platform can provide are essential components for getting commercial assets on the road to net zero. It is commercially viable for a range of assets and enables data from whole portfolios to be managed on one central platform.”
IBOS will include enhanced occupier and maintenance interfaces delivered through mobile apps. Workman says the operational efficiencies that could be gained will be “essential for creating a route to net zero and healthier working environments”.
