MIPIM 2016: Whitbread is to open a Premier Inn at Berkeley’s Royal Arsenal Riverside regeneration scheme, Woolwich, SE18.
It has entered into a jv with LaSalle Investment Management, which paid £21m for the long-leasehold of the asset.
The hotel is located in the 88-acre Arsenal Riverside scheme, which includes 5,000 homes and 900,000 sq ft of commercial space. It was marketed by JLL last September with an asking price of £20m.
Due for completion in spring 2017, the is close to Woolwich Crossrail station, which will link Woolwich to central London in 20 minutes.
