MIPIM 2016: There is “nowhere” co-working giant WeWork won’t go as it expands in London and overseas.
At the launch of the company’s new Aldgate space last night brand director Hillary Deppeler said: “There are not many neighbourhoods we wouldn’t consider. We want to go wherever anyone is creating.”
The five-year-old former New York start-up now has 78 outposts worldwide and 400,000 sq ft of space in the UK capital.
Known for its relaxed style, the group celebrated the launch of its Aldgate Tower space with a party for 600 guests and performances by UK garage legend DJ EZ and beatboxer Reeps One.
The group is heading to MIPIM next week to get to know the real estate industry.
Deppeler said: “We will be at MIPIM. We want to meet anyone who is anyone in real estate.”
