Watkin Jones is putting forward plans for an 800-home BTR and PBSA scheme in Edinburgh.
Numbers are yet to be fixed but it is thought that the development, on a site to the rear of the Corn Exchange in Chesser, will include 440 BTR apartments and around 400 student beds.
The site, dominated by 120-year-old auction buildings and livestock sheds, is currently occupied by World of Football and World of Bowling.
If planning is granted the development is expected to complete in 2025.
