In a move away from its traditional office offer British Land is hoping to secure creative or tech companies with its quirky refurbishment of Yalding House, W1.
The building on London’s Great Portland Street, was formerly occupied by the BBC and home for a while to Radio 1 and Radio 3.
Drawing on the building’s history with quirky features such as vinyl library and music related art, British Land is hoping the 29,000 sq ft building will attractive the sort of companies more usually associated with Shoreditch and Clerkenwell as well as more traditional businesses looking for space that is a little bit different.
