Warehouse REIT’s portfolio has grown to more than 8.5m sq ft and rental income has risen by 7%.
In a trading update, the AIM-listed REIT said that four acquisitions totalling £13m, on a yield of 5%, had added just over 100,000 sq ft to the portfolio.
A further 112,000 sq ft had been let, for £700,000 pa, lifting last quarter’s ERV by 7%.
Warehouse REIT has also exchanged contracts to buy a further 16 acres of land adjoining the northern and eastern boundary of its Radway Green estate in Crewe.
Earlier this year it secured planning consent, submitted in collaboration with the adjoining landowner, for an 803,000 sq ft, six-warehouse scheme.
