Vistry Group’s Countryside Partnerships has exchanged contracts with housing association LiveWest to deliver 259 mixed-tenure homes on the outskirts of Plymouth in Devon.
The £76m development in the new town of Sherford will comprise 114 affordable homes, delivered by LiveWest, and 145 homes delivered by Countryside.
The scheme forms part of a wider development in Sherford that will see more than 5,500 new homes built alongside a new town centre, four schools, a leisure centre and sports facilities, as well as extensive transport links and green space including a 500-acre country park.
Countryside chief executive Stephen Teagle said: “This latest scheme is a great reflection of the ability of our partnerships model to provide the right mix of homes that communities require.”
