Electric Square, a video game developer that has worked on games including Assassin’s Creed Nexus, Diablo and Lords of the Fallen, has levelled up its own office space in Brighton.
The company has taken an extra 5,184 sq ft on the third floor of LandsecU+I’s The Office on Circus Street, at £34 per sq ft.
Electric Square took 30,000 sq ft across two floors of the building earlier this year. Knight Frank and SHW are leasing agents for the building.
Brighton & Hove City Council is reviewing its City Plan with the aim of tackling a shortage of high-quality office space in the region.
Brighton & Hove Economic Partnership executive director Gavin Stewart told EG this month that the council should be “promoting and supporting higher-wage economies, such as the creative digital sector, because that’s where we’re going to be finding the jobs to be able to put people in”.
