US REIT BioMed Realty is considering investing in more UK property.
The San Diego-based company made its debut in the UK last month after buying Granta Park in Cambridge for £127m from MEPC.
Agents Michael Jones of Dodson Jones believes this will lead to more purchases, however, he added it was still early days of ownership with Granta Park and hinted “there is still plenty of work to be done to it”.
The Granta Park deal was one of the UK’s largest regional deals, and Dodson Jones’ involvement, a Cambridge-based two –man-band, has surprised the industry.
Jones said it was slightly surreal but modestly explained he played just an introductory role. He also hinted at what BioMed Realty does with its assets, if it has an appetite for UK property and what it might be doing in the coming months.
