KEY INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Central business district Mixed-use opportunity comprising 136 acres on a number of sites between Southampton Central Station and the waterfront. Residential, office, retail and leisure uses are proposed.

INVESTOR INTEREST

Hammerson is selling 50% of its new Watermark leisure development to Singaporean sovereign wealth fund GIC. The £48.5m deal is expected to complete before the end of the year. Hammerson and GIC formed a joint venture to develop both Watermark and the adjoining Westquay shopping centre.
