Canary Wharf Group has completed a deal to lease the 38th floor of One Canada Square, E14, to University College London.
The Russell Group university will open its new school of management postgraduate programme in the building.
The school focuses on innovation, technology and management, analytics and entrepreneurship and will be based one floor below Canary Wharf Group’s tech hub Level 39.
In total, the 38th floor spans 28,412 sq ft.
Canary Wharf Group’s chairman and chief executive Sir George Iacobescu said: “The agreement between Canary Wharf Group and UCL will enable the brightest postgraduates to benefit from proximity to world-class financial and professional services institutions. These students will be able to experience the unique fusion between business and technology we enjoy here, through access to networks of business people as well as the technology corporates, entrepreneurs and innovators in the 180 start-ups residing in Level 39.”
