The portfolio comprises 45,000 beds across the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and the US, under long-term concession agreements with universities.

The business is owned by a consortium of superannuation funds, including REST, Hostplus and Catholic Super, with REST the largest shareholder.

The sale is being run by UBS in Australia, and is being pitched on the back of an expected 7% pa increase in growth for the sector.

It is likely to appeal to both real estate and infrastructure developers, and the platform is being offered as a whole.

Campus Living Villages has almost 12,000 beds across the UK in cities including Birmingham, Exeter, Leeds, Liverpool, London and Manchester.
