Tritax Big Box Developments is eyeing expansion at three of its logistics parks, totalling 2.6m sq ft.
At Tritax Park Oxford, the logistics developer has submitted plans to build 1.8m sq ft of floorspace across nine facilities ranging in size from 98,000 sq ft to 317,000 sq ft.
It comes as Tritax presses ahead with the development of a 600,000 sq ft production facility for Siemens Healthineers as part of the first phase development of Oxford Park.
Tritax has also lodged proposals with Cherwell District Council for phase three at Symmetry Park Bicester, Oxfordshire. The plans would see the delivery of 270,000 sq ft across two mid-box units measuring 155,000 sq ft and 115,000 sq ft.
At Symmetry Park Biggleswade, Tritax is set to kick off the delivery of bespoke 65,847 sq ft facility for Warburtons along with four logistics buildings totalling more than 750,000 sq ft and ranging in size from 139,500 sq ft up to 287,200 sq ft. This third phase is expected to be built over a six-month period, starting in autumn this year.
Tom Leeming, director at Tritax Big Box Developments, said: “Bringing forward multiple phases of development at these well-established schemes further underlines our team’s ability to identify and create space for our existing and prospective clients in prime locations, such as these sites across the Oxford-Cambridge corridor.”
