Triple Point leads £1.6m proptech funding round

Triple Point has led a £1.6m funding round raised by RegTech data platform start-up Kamma.

Pi Labs and M7 Structura also backed the business, which has raised a total £2.2m since its launch in 2018.

Kamma will use the funds to build its global search engine for local legislation. The start-up has built a platform that detects and aggregates regulatory information into a data for regulatory requirements and insights.

Kamma chief executive Orla Shields said: “Our guiding principle is to make renting safer for everyone. With more people working from home and a correlation between housing overcrowding and the faster spread of Covid-19, property compliance is of huge importance.”
