The jolly at the Ivy

The Ivy in London’s West End once again played host to the annual Estates Gazette Auctioneers Lunch earlier this month.

The fashionable theatreland restaurant, which only days earlier had seen Kylie Minogue dancing on the tables, has hosted the event for many years. This latest lunch continued the tradition of networking and revelry with the gathered leading lights of the auctions world.

Fifty guests heard a review of the year from Estates Gazette editor Damian Wild while enjoying champagne, fine wine and a sumptuous three-course meal. Clive Emson led responses on behalf of the guests.

After requests at last year’s event for more coverage of the private investor market, the Estates Gazette team also showcased a new product for auctioneers’ clients, the Buyers’ Guide to Property Auctions.

Launched in the autumn. The 76-page publication is available in newsagents and via the Estates Gazette app.

The Auctioneers Lunch will return to the Ivy for its 15th year next December.
