The Halo Effect: Google Maps and EDGE join EG’s new data podcast series

Plus occupiers up their tech spend and powerful comment in this week’s round-up of EG’s tech news.

In the week we bring the best of EG’s tech and innovation arm Halo into the magazine in the second of our quarterly technology sections, EG has announced the launch of a new building podcast series with guest speakers lined up from Dutch developer EDGE, Google Maps and the Real Estate Data Foundation.

Kicking off this week, the first session will take place at 10am this Thursday 18 June as EDGE’s head of product excellence Sandra Gritti joins me to discuss how the company has built a reputation as being one of real estate’s most data-led developers. She will reveal how it has trialled and tested the right technology, successfully used data to evolve a portfolio to become one of the greenest and smartest in the world, and how the building data can now be used to help create safer, healthier buildings.
