The first ground-floor store devoted to women’s tailoring has opened on Savile Row.
The Deck will be the first ever women’s tailor to have a shop-front on the famous street, although establishments such as Gormley and Gamble have been catering exclusively to women, albeit from first floor premises.
The only thing causing eyebrows to raise among The Deck’s new neighbours, having relocated from Chelsea, is that founder Daisy Knatchbull’s background is in PR, not tailoring.
