The Chinese Buffet signs up to Trinity Walk in Wakefield

The Chinese Buffet is to take largest restaurant space in the food area of Trinity Walk, Wakefield.

It has taken the entire first floor – a total of 9,100 sq ft – of the main catering area at the 500,000 sq ft shopping centre, which is being developed by Sovereign Land, AREA Property Partners and Shepherd Construction.

Trinity Walk will be The Chinese Buffet’s third restaurant, following the recent opening of branches in Bolton and Wigan.

Trinity Walk’s line-up includes Debenhams, a 117,000 sq ft Sainsbury’s, and fashion retailers H&M, New Look, Next, River Island, Peacocks, Topshop, Topman, Republic, JD, Bank, Dorothy Perkins and Burtons. In recent weeks, Asda Living, Argos, Deichmann, Clintons, Esquires, Bijou Brigitte and Costa have joined them.

Max La Frenais, leasing director at Sovereign Land, said: “Our catering offer is really taking shape and we are delighted to welcome The Chinese Buffet to the mix.

“With Costa, Panini Shack, Esquires and Greggs, plus Debenhams and Sainsbury’s cafés already on board, we are in advanced negotiations with a number of restaurants for the remaining A3 offer.”

Lunson Mitchenall and Angermann Goddard & Loyd are advising the jv.
