TFG London has agreed a 10-year lease with Grosvenor to open its largest multi-brand flagship store at Liverpool One.
The retailer has taken 12,000 sq ft on the shopping centre’s South John Street, where it will feature all four of its brands – Hobbs, Phase Eight, Whistles and Inside Story. The store will open next spring.
The deal follows Zara revealing the first stage of its expanded store at Liverpool One earlier this month. It is set to fully open its 42,000 sq ft space by December.
The 1.7m sq ft shopping centre is owned by Grosvenor Group and has more than 170 stores, with John Lewis as its anchor tenant.
Caraline Money, global retail director at TFG, said: “Our new store strategy is focused on opening bigger and better stores in prominent shopping destinations like Liverpool where we have built a loyal ever-growing customer base.”
Rob Deacon, director of asset management at Grosvenor, said: “TFG London is another step in South John Street’s evolution, reflecting our strategy of securing new brands and upsizing existing retailers to add to its ‘best of the high street’ mix.”
