Terrace Hill secures Dorset warehouse development deal

Terrace Hill has sold a warehouse on Christchurch Business Park in Dorset to mobile accessory distributor Kondor and entered in an agreement to develop a 59,740 sq ft warehouse and office block in a deal worth £5m.

Terrace Hill, advised by Goadsby and King Sturge, said it was the largest warehouse deal in Dorset for 15 years.

The warehouse development includes 12,740 sq ft of offices over three floors on a  2.15 acre site.

Kondor, a mobile accessory distributor in Wimborne, will move in to the building in the first quarter of 2011.

Philip Leech, chief executive of Terrace Hill, said: “The land sale ahead of the construction of a warehouse at Christchurch Business Park is a major deal and marks an important stage in the development of the site.”

Terrace Hill bought the nine acre site in 2008. It is located on part of a site formerly occupied by BAE Systems.

King Sturge and Goadsby are marketing a further 48,550 ft² of B1, B2 and B8 accommodation at the Christchurch Business Park which is available for sale or to let.
