The letting follows Moyallen’s successful planning application to remodel and extend the 550,000 sq ft centre’s façade to provide more retail.

A further two planning applications were submitted last week as part of a wider vision to breath new life into Woking town centre by delivering over 300,000 sq ft of new space by 2013.

Woking borough council, through its vehicle Wolsey Place Ltd, proposes to add 14,000 sq ft of new retail to its 230,000 sq ft Wolsey Place shopping centre.

Moyallen’s separate planning application has put forward plans to extend and develop 9,000 sq ft of restaurants in front of the library.

Woking borough council has also appointed Gillespies to advise on public realm improvements.

GCW and Jones Lang LaSalle advise Moyallen; Jones Lang LaSalle advised Superdry; Green & Partners and Nash Bond advise Woking council.
