Starwood lines up Resolution assets

Starwood Capital is set to buy a trio of out-of-town retail assets from Robert Laurence’s Resolution Property.

The private real estate investment firm is thought to be in advanced discussions to buy a 103,400 sq ft B&Q in Sunderland, 168,500 sq ft Great Western retail park in Glasgow and 142,000 sq ft Templars retail park in Oxford (pictured) for close to £125m – a 6.5% yield.

The portfolio was brought to the market in October.

Starwood Capital also recently bid on The Junction retail park fund.

Harvey Spack Field and CBRE is advising Resolution. Resolution declined to comment.
