Occupiers find it “exhausting” looking for office space in London, delegates at the Future: Property Tech event heard this week.
“It is an exhausting process,” said one delegate. “You find somewhere and if things go well and you grow then you have to start thinking abort doing it all over again.”
He added that finding flexible space whether by co-working or incubating in a larger company and growing the space along with the business was the preferred solution.
Delegates also heard how buildings are no longer designed for the managing director and financial director but for fresh young talent. And that whereas care parking spaces for senior staff were once a priority, the focus should now be on the building spec.
