Stanhope acquires Chiswick Park offices in surprise deal

Stanhope has bought Building 7 at Chiswick Park, W4, from funds managed by Blackstone.

Building 7 was bought for around £310m. The property is 95% let to blue-chip covenants including Pernod Ricard, Starbucks and British American Tobacco.

It marks a surprise return for Stanhope, which was appointed to develop the 335,000 sq ft office building in 2013 in an £80m construction project.

It is the largest building on the park, and the last one that Blackstone owned at the office campus. Blackstone first bought the park in March 2011.

The seller was advised by Knight Frank and JLL.
