Evolve Estates, part of M Core, has added the Billingham Town Centre retail scheme in County Durham to its portfolio.
According to EG Radius data, Billingham Town Centre has been owned by St Modwen Developments since 2014.
The 320,000 sq ft open-air development spans 90 premises, 10 of which are currently vacant, and 673 car parking spaces. Existing tenants on the site include Asda, B&M and Aldi.
Danny O’Keefe, founding partner at Evolve Estates, said: “Billingham Town Centre is a community focal point, aligning with our mission to enhance retail hubs for the benefit of local residents and visitors.”
Evolve is in talks with both national brands and local traders to fill the vacant space on the site. It is also engaging with existing tenants, stakeholders and Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council about its future development aspirations.
Cited Property acted as the solicitor and acting agent for Evolve. Four & Co acted as agent for the vendor, with Pinsent Masons as solicitor.
