Staff and clients of Cushman & Wakefield in Scotland have taken part in a one-day challenge in memory of C&W staff member Rob Worboys, who died suddenly, earlier this year aged 27.
The Rob Worboys Arran Challenge comprised a 57-mile cycle ride around the Isle of Arran before ascending the 2,866ft Goat Fell.
Money raised will go to the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young to screen young people and raise awareness of cardiac conditions such as sudden adult death syndrome.
Cushman & Wakefield will match all donations made for the challenge.

JLL helps hockey league reach goal
JLL has had a successful first season as sponsor of the City and Wharf Hockey League. This year’s competition has been the largest yet, with 24 teams playing 72 games between Easter and August. JLL missed out on the final, however, with PwC beating JP Morgan to take the cup.
JLL CAWHL president Stuart Burnside said: “The league has grown to its largest yet and we are sure this wouldn’t have been possible without JLL’s continued support.”
Apprenticeship puts JJ on fast track
A construction trainee apprenticeship programme run by Wandle and Crest Nicholson has seen one young London apprentice work his way up to trainee site manager in just two years.
Jabari Brown (JJ) joined Wandle and Crest Nicholson in 2014 through apprenticeship training agency K10, and worked on the Valentine Place development in Southwark. He worked in waste management, before taking his present role as trainee site manager.
John Walton, head of development at Wandle, said: “Apprentices are seen as key to addressing a declining number of trainees in the construction industry.”

Help in store
Staff from AS Retail turned shopkeepers for a day at the Traid charity shop in Dalston, E8.
Andrew Shepherd, Charlotte Lodge and James Jenkins spent the day working in the warehouse sorting clothing and donations, merchandising in store and assisting customers.
Shepherd said: “Traid have been clients for 10 years and I thought it was about time for us to give something back. This day has been eye-opening in many ways, not only providing us with an insight into Traid’s activities, but also educating us as retail property surveyors on the practicalities of successfully running a shop and retail chain.”
