EG’s award-winning Future Leaders programme is back with a sixth cohort of talent ready to showcase how powerful, exciting and transformative the real estate sector can be.
Nine new participants have been selected for the intense public speaking training programme, which culminates with our second full-day EG Future Leaders summit on 21 September at Senate House, WC1.
Over the course of their training programme, run by Ginger Leadership Communications, these nine will find their story and passion about how they – and the industry as a whole – can use their influence to create a better sector, a better economy and a better world for all.
This year’s cohort, tasked with that big ask are:
- Adnan Anwar, fund accounting lead, JLL
- Ellie Awford, senior associate (real estate), Nuveen
- Alix Murtha, senior associate, Clyde & Co
- Georgie Manly, retail customer propositions director, Landsec
- Lucia Sanderson, apprentice surveyor, CBRE
- So Sum Lee, consultant, Inner Circle Consulting
- Bisi Brown, secretary, Real Estate Balance
- Nabeel Alhassan, senior treasury analyst, Aster Group
- Georgie Roberts, associate partner, Knight Frank
Our nine new Future Leaders will join an alumni of more than 40 EG Future Leaders, a collection of individuals from across the built environment who are helping highlight the diversity of people and thought throughout the sector and giving voice to those people from traditionally underrepresented groups in real estate.
The programme works tirelessly to open doors for those people in our industry who do not come from traditional backgrounds and who haven’t followed the traditional routes into real estate.
It puts inclusivity at its heart and seeks to help the real estate industry reverse its lack of diversity at senior levels – be that gender diversity, ethnicity, socio-economic, neurodiversity and disability diversity – to find the very best talent that is often hidden right in front of our eyes.
Through bringing together a diverse group of people, EG Future Leaders seeks to bring new ideas, ideals and goals for real estate into the limelight.
This is not a diversity programme. This is about the industry being the very best it can be – about thriving and showing the world what it has to offer. And how that opportunity is open to everyone.
