Shaftesbury appoints CBRE as sole managing agent in move to one-agency model

Shaftesbury has appointed CBRE as sole managing agent across its entire portfolio.

CBRE will provide property management services for the estate across Chinatown, Fitzrovia, the Opera Quarter and Coliseum. It already advises Shaftesbury on its Carnaby, Soho and Seven Dials holdings.

Shaftesbury said that the shift to a sole agent would enable it to “drive efficiency and consistency” across the estate.

Tom Welton, executive director at Shaftesbury, said: “Having worked with CBRE for a number of years on Carnaby, Soho and Seven Dials, we have first-hand experience of their work, and are excited to be partnering with them across the broader portfolio. This will enable us to operate more effectively for the benefit of our portfolio, our occupiers and ultimately the visitors who enjoy our villages every day.”
