An estate in Surrey that is said to offer the UK’s largest self-build project is on the market for £15m.
The 40-acre Ockenden Park estate in Virginia Water has the potential for a 32,515 sq ft Palladian mega-mansion that could be valued at more than £50m, said agents at Beauchamp Estates.

Plans for the development, drawn up by consultants Adam Architecture, Katharine Pooley Design Studio, Richard Miers Garden Design and Richard Aldridge Lighting Consultants, include a galleried entrance hall, five reception rooms, family kitchen and living room, a ballroom with cocktail bar and a wine cellar.
Beauchamp said the building of the mansion will cost between £15m and £20m.
