Selective buyers at ‘very tough’ Strettons auction

Strettons raised almost £10m on 5 December after 40 of 79 secondary commercial and residential properties sold, reflecting a 51% success rate.

Auction director Philip Waterfield said the sale at the Grand Connaught Rooms, WC2, was "very tough".

Buyers proved
