SEGRO has been given the go-ahead for the first phase of the redevelopment of its flagship Slough Trading Estate.

It will create new offices, a purpose-built transport hub, two hotels to serve businesses on the estate, shops, restaurants and cafes, and a new conference centre.
The work is part of a wider masterplan to regenerate the estate, which is home to 7.5m sq ft of business space set across 485 acres.
