Manufacturers across the UK believe the worst of the recession is now behind them, research out today showed. According to the latest CBI/Business Strategies quarterly Regional Trends Survey, business confidence in most areas has risen for the first time in more than two years.

Tesco will anchor Centros Miller’s 23,225 sq m (250,000 sq ft) mixed-use regeneration scheme in Kidderminster town centre. The food retailer has exchanged contracts with the developer to occupy a 7,060 sq m (76,000 sq ft) supermarket in the scheme which is set to go ahead now that local landowners have agreed to the site assembly.
