In the largest investment property deal to come up this year, Lehman Brothers-backed Thornfield has instructed Franc Warwick to market the 1.3m sq ft (120,770 sq m) Kingfisher Shopping Centre in Redditch for £215m, a 6% initial yield.

Birmingham’s £500m Bullring shopping centre today announced it had signed five more health and beauty multiples. Molton Brown, Boots, Body Shop, the Perfume Shop and Dr & Herbs are to take a combined 14,000 sq ft (1,300 sq m) at the scheme, which is now over 65% prelet.
