SDL Auctions will offer 112 lots in its national property auction this week, which will take place via live video stream this week.
In response to the coronavirus crisis, SDL Auctions has replaced all of its room auctions with monthly national property auctions streamed live over the internet from the auction studio in its head office.
The catalogue for its 30 April sale is not far short of the 139 lots offered in its five room auctions at the same time last year.
Managing director Andrew Parker said: “The sheer volume of lots confirms we are providing a much-needed service to sellers, many of whom simply cannot wait until the crisis is over.”
Lots being offered on 30 April include houses, flats, bungalows, commercial properties and land, some of which are being sold on behalf of estate agents after the lockdown increased the number of fall-throughs in the open market.
Lots include:
- A three-bedroom semi-detached house in Beeston, Nottingham, in need of full refurbishment, with a guide price of £135,000-plus.
- A four-bedroom mid-terrace property in Bilston, near Birmingham, in need of modernisation, with a guide price of £90,000-plus.
- A three-bedroom detached character cottage in New Longton, Lancashire, with a guide price of £150,000-plus.
- A two-bedroom third-floor duplex apartment in the Exchange, Leicester, currently let at £700 pcm, with a guide price of £80,000-plus. The investment is being sold in partnership with estate agent Whitegates.
The auction starts at 10.30am on 30 April and can be viewed on SDL’s website.
