Schroders Capital has created a new role focused on working with institutional real estate investors in the private markets.
Kieran Farrelly will join from private assets specialist StepStone Group as Schroders’ first head of global solutions for real estate, reporting to global head of real estate Sophie van Oosterom.
Farrelly will focus on the international investment scope of Schroders’ Solutions team, investing in and managing real estate directly and indirectly.
He was a partner in StepStone’s real estate team, having helped to set up the European real estate division. Before that he worked at the Townsend Group and CBRE Global Investment Partners.
