Schools are still fitting the cladding used on Grenfell Tower and banned for use on tall buildings.
An estimated 70 schools have been fitted with plastic foam insulation panels since they were outlawed on buildings over 18m tall in December 2018.
About 25 new hospitals, care homes and sheltered housing complexes were also thought likely to have been constructed using flammable insulation, according to figures from Rockwool.
