Savills wins Clydeside brief

Scottish Enterprise has appointed Savills to advise on the next phase of the £300m Pacific Quay development on the south bank of Glasgow’s River Clyde.

Savills has been brought in on a five-year instruction valued at up to £125,000 to act as development consultant.

The 56-acre initial phases of Pacific Quay were completed between 1998 and 2007 and the area is now home to the BBC, Scottish Television and the Glasgow Science Centre.

Plans for the remaining phases include 202,000 sq ft of offices, 273,000 sq ft of flats, 20,000 sq ft of shops and an 85,000 sq ft hotel.
