Savills adds Deloitte expert to its planning division

Savills has expanded its planning economics team with the appointment of Sabil Chaudhry as a director in its London office.

Chaudhry joins from Deloitte, where he held senior economics and strategy consulting positions within the UK and the Middle East. Prior to that, he had worked within the UK central government departments, including the Home Office, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and Ministry of Justice.

In his new role at Savills, Chaudhry will be focusing on public sector opportunities, particularly the justification of projects and programmes, as well as extending the UK team’s work with colleagues in the Middle East. He will also liaise with Savills Earth to expand the coverage of environmental economics and further enhance this sector.

David Jackson, head of planning at Savills, said: “As we continue to expand our planning division with strategic hires, we are committed to delivering the best possible service for our clients, which Sabil will play a key role in achieving.”
