Salford’s Lowry signs two retailers

Gap Outlet and Holland & Barrett have both agreed new stores at the Lowry Outlet Mall in Salford Quays, Manchester.

 

Gap Outlet will occupy 8,000 sq ft on the ground floor adjacent to Cadbury’s Factory Outlet and opposite the newly re-located Suits You store.

 

Together with Holland & Barrett, which will trade under the name H&B Outlet, the stores will open in September.


Other new store signings for 2010 include menswear label Dickies and accessories retailer Bijoux.


Rob Hallworth, manager of the Lowry Outlet Mall, said: ‘This is all positive news for the Mall ahead of entering the busy Christmas season.

 

“We are delighted to have secured Gap Outlet and H&B Outlet for the Mall.  

 

“Gap Outlet in particular is a destination retailer, appealing to a wide section of people, which we believe will attract shoppers from across the North West region.”


Holland & Barrett’s Phil Geary said: “We’re excited to be joining the Lowry Outlet Mall, it’s a great location and we look forward to welcoming people from across the region into the new store.  

 

“We hope to become the destination of choice for high-quality, healthy, natural products at outlet prices.”
