Rolls-Royce via its development manager Muse has sold a 31-acre business park in Nottinghamshire in an off-market deal.
The Harrier Park site in Hucknall has been bought by Clowes. The Derbyshire-headquartered developer will invest upwards of £50m in the site, build and remediation costs to deliver around 500,000 sq ft of warehouse and industrial space.
The site, a former aerodrome, has planning consent for six buildings.
Sarah Day, senior land manager at Clowes, said: “We look forward to working with the local planning authority, Ashfield District Council, to bring forward a business park which will enhance the economy and provide employment opportunities locally.”
Harrier Park is within a ten-minute drive of Junction 26 and Junction 27 of the M1, and Nottingham, Derby, East Midlands Airport and East Midlands Parkway Train Station are a 30-minute drive from the business park.
Fisher German and FHP have been retained to market the park to occupiers for build-to-suit industrial buildings either to buy or rent.
