Robinson joins BNPPRE in Birmingham

Charles Robinson is to head up BNP Paribas Real Estate’s (BNPPRE) planning division in Birmingham.

He replaces Matt Walton, who now heads the London planning team at BNPPRE.

Robinson will be mainly responsible for the delivery of town planning and development advice to clients throughout the Midlands in both the public and private sectors.

Prior to joining BNPPRE, Robinson spent 15 years at the helm of CDS Development Services where he provided planning and development advice to clients.  Before this, Robinson headed DTZ’s planning department in Birmingham.

Paul Rixon, head of BNPPRE’s Birmingham office, said: “The coalition government continues to make changes to the planning system which is increasingly being felt by our clients on a regional level.  Therefore it is imperative that we are able to guide our clients through these changes and Charles’s appointment will ensure that we can provide the essential knowledge and expertise needed to understand these changes and continue to promote future development.”
