“We want to be the Intel Inside of smart cities,” says Laurence Kemball-Cook. “We want Pavegen inside every floor, every road, every bridge, every building, utilising this potential energy so that smart cities of the future can be power hubs.”
Kemball-Cook is the inventor of Pavegen, an off-grid energy producing and data producing floor tile that he believed can revolutionise the built environment.
EG caught up with him to find out more about his plans and the tile in May.
