Real Estate Investors has completed its acquisition of 32.1 acres of land in Tredegar, South Wales, for £1m.
The West Midlands-based property group exchanged contracts on the acquisition in January 2009.
The site has planning consent for 283 homes and REI eventually intends to put it up for sale.
