Real estate delegation revealed

The real estate leaders who will be travelling to North America to strike new deals and encourage inward investment into the UK after Brexit, have been announced.

Global Real Estate link buttonThe 12-strong team of developers, institutional fund managers, advisers and architects, will travel to Toronto – where they will be joining communities and local government minister Sajid Javid – and New York, to sell the UK to international investors.

The delegates will be part of an investment mission on 21-23 September, hosted by Estates Gazette and the Department for International Trade, in partnership with Savills.

Regeneration investment is a core part of the trip, and in New York the delegation will take part in a panel discussion at the World Trade Center, hosted in partnership with Silverstein Properties.

The World Trade Center is a sprawling 16-acre mixed-used regeneration site, including a state-of-the-art transport hub.

Award-winning architect Sir Richard Rogers and his firm Rogers Stirk Harbor + Partners, designed 3 World Trade Center, one of the five iconic office towers that make up the site.

In Toronto, the real estate team will join a number of other trade delegations pushing the UK government’s Midlands Engine growth agenda which prime minister Theresa May said in August she was backing “all the way”.
