The Tour de France and the future of international investment in Leeds were hot topics for the key players in the property sector at Estates Gazette’s Yorkshire Question Time last night.
The guests settled in to a packed-out Everyman Cinema in Trinity Leeds to hear top developers, public sector figures and occupiers debate issues ranging from the future of mass transit in the city to the effectiveness of Leeds’ public figures in attracting global capital investment.
Also on the agenda from a lively crowd were questions on how Yorkshire fares in competition with other Northern centres and what effect the Tour de France could have on the property world.
Panellists included MEPC’s Paul Pavia, Leeds council’s Martin Farrington, Savills’ Simon Lister, HS2’s Paul Chapman, PwC’s Ian Morrison, and Mills & Reeve’s Simon Sherwood, alongside Estates Gazette editor Damian Wild.
