Thousands of PWC staff could never return to the office on a full-time basis.
The Big Four accountancy firm said that PWC is preparing for the “majority of its 22,000 UK staff to continue to work from home at least part-time even once the coronavirus has passed.
Over the long term PWC thinks that staff will go into the office on some days, but that this will be combined with working from home for the rest of the week.
Schroders(£), the asset management group, has told its employees that they could work from home forever if they choose.
