Online estate agency Purplebricks has been given more time in its hunt for a buyer.
The London-listed company said it is now in a “targeted phase of detailed diligence and discussions with credible bidders”.
One interested party is rival Strike. Purplebricks said Strike “is not currently participating in the formal sale process” but that talks are ongoing.
The UK’s Takeover Panel has now said Strike is able to extend the deadline by which it must make an offer or walk away until 10 May.
