Victoria Beckham is set to be the first tenant at Stanhope’s and Mitsui Fudosan’s White City Place – the former BBC Media Village.
The pop star-turned-fashion designer is expanding her business and has placed under offer the entire 40,000 sq ft Garden House building, W12.
Beckham has agreed a 15-year lease for the building, where quoting rents are in the region of £35 per sq ft.
The move represents a major expansion for Beckham’s fashion business, which currently occupies a small office in Battersea at Ransome’s Dock, SW11.
It is expected to transfer into the new headquarters building in mid-2016.
Stanhope and Mitsui completed the purchase of the four-acre BBC Media Village in June.
The site, which has been rebranded as White City Place, includes six buildings.
Three of the buildings – Garden House, White City One and Media Centre – are being refurbished by the developer to deliver 600,000 sq ft of office space in 2016.
The BBC will remain in occupation at the remaining three buildings at White City Place – the Lighthouse Centre, Broadcast Centre and Energy Centre – until 2035.

Stanhope, Mitsui and Alberta Investment Management Corporation are separately redeveloping the nearby 14-acre BBC Television Centre just to the south of White City Place on Wood Lane as a major mixed-used scheme.
